ISA Entrepreneurship Program

Building a successful business on your own can be challenging. The ISA Entrepreneurship program is here to help you along the way. The program is designed for aspiring, idea-stage and early-stage entrepreneurs who are looking to explore, validate or build new or refine existing businesses.

The program will equip you with tools, skills, mindsets, resources and business support services depending on where you are at in your entrepreneurship journey. Additionally, you will have access to the ISA talent pool of researchers and designers who will provide support to your business.

 The ISA entrepreneurship program is divided into three major stages (Explore Business Ideas, Validate your Business and Launch your Business) that are immersive and impactful for your business and designed to take you to the next level.

ISA Entrepreneurship Program Stages

The ISA entrepreneurship program is open to individuals and teams. Depending on where you are at, we have 3 carefully curated stages of the ISA entrepreneurship program.

Stage 1 : Explore Business Ideas (6 Weeks)

The Explore Ideas stage is where you learn and practice how to identify viable business opportunities and ideas to pursue.

Guided by human-centered design principles and lean and agile approaches, you will get to answer;

  • What problem will your business solve?
  • Who are your target market and customers, and what are their needs?
  • What are the existing barriers and challenges in your target market?
  • What are unique opportunities that your business can focus on?
  • What are the solutions and the value proposition of your business?
  • How big is the potential market for your business?

Stage 2: Validate your Business (6 Weeks)

The Validate your Business stage will focus on the surfacing, designing, testing and refining key aspects of your business to achieve product market fit.

Using human-centered design principles, business modeling approaches and strategies, you will get to answer;

  • What are the key assumptions for my business to succeed?
  • Is my product or service ready for the market?
  • How big is the market size for my business?
  • Is my business creating and delivering value to my customers?
  • Is my business viable in the long run?
  • Is there evidence that my revenue and pricing are sustainable?
  • Is my business model scalable?
  • What strategies will my business need to achieve product-market fit?

Stage 3: Launch your Business (6 Weeks)

At the Launch your Business stage you will set up the business processes and activities for the launch and growth of your validated product or service.

Leveraging support from business support experts, you will get to answer;

  • What structures and compliance are needed for my business?
  • How do I set up and streamline processes in my business?
  • How do I leverage data and talent for the growth of my business?
  • How do I attract investors to my business?
